Sopa De Pescado

Se pone una cazuela con agua y sal en la lumbre. Cuando comienza á hervir, se pone rebanadas de pescado crudo bien limpio, de preferencia robalo ó huachinango. Se le pone bastante jitomate, ajo, y cebolla finamente picado, sal y unas rajitas de chile huachinango crudo, se deja hervir quitándole con las espumadera la espina que se forma y cuando está cocidos el pescado se sirve bien caliente. Se le pone tambien una ramita de epazote.

English Translation

Put a pot with water and salt on the fire. When it begins to boil, put well cleaned raw fish of your preference either •common snook or red snapper. Put plenty of tomate, garlic, finely chopped onion, salt and little slices of raw huachinango chilis. Let it boil taking off the scales that form and when the fish is well done, serve it hot. Also add a twig of epazote.
